That’s exactly why we built this 1300W M-shape lamp. It’s designed for those high-density loads where waiting around for things to warm up just isn’t an option. The power side of things This one runs at 235V. We chose that specific voltage to keep the current draw in check while still pumping out 1300W of raw thermal power. It creates a very tight, intense heat footprint. Just a heads-up: make sure your power supplies can actually handle this load. If they can’t, you’re looking at burnt-out filaments, and nobody wants to deal with that. Why the “M” shape? It’s not just for looks. By folding the filament into an M-shape, we cram more radiating surface area into the same length of tube. This is a big deal because it spreads that 1300W load more evenly across the quartz glass. Without this, you get those nasty localized hot spots that can actually crack the envelope. We also swapped out old-school tungsten for carbon fiber. Carbon fiber can take a beating at much higher temperatures and changes how the heat moves. Instead of just warming up the air around the lamp, the energy actually penetrates deep into whatever material you’re heating. Fitting it into your setup These are meant to be simple drop-in replacements for your existing IR arrays. Since we use clear quartz, the shortwave energy gets through without any interference. But here is the thing: 1300W in a small tube creates a lot of ambient heat. If you’re stuffing these into a tight box, you’ve got to get your cooling fans right. If the air doesn’t move, your connectors will overheat and eventually fail. One last tip? Double-check your terminal tension during installation. A loose connection leads to arcing, and that’s a quick way to ruin a perfectly good lamp.
