Power, Voltage, and Size: All the Heat, None of the Waste
This lamp runs on 400V and puts out 2500W, so it packs a lot of heat into a small space. The tube is 300mm long, which means the energy goes right where you aim it—no spilling heat into areas you don’t need. That 400V setup isn’t just a number. It helps keep the current lower on the line, so your conductors and switchgear don’t have to be oversized. But it also means your power supply needs to be properly matched. With 2500W at 400V, you need a solid control circuit—and you need cooling that can handle the extra warmth in the area.
Built to Take It: Halogen, Quartz, and an R7s Connection
Inside, the filament is carbon, and that’s on purpose. It gives you strong infrared output and jumps to temperature fast. We seal it in a quartz envelope because quartz can handle serious heat and stays clear. The halogen cycle inside the quartz helps keep the filament temperature stable and fights blackening, so the lamp lasts longer. The tube also has a coating to focus the emission and keep dirt, dust, and other contaminants from getting at the element. And the R7s connector? It makes installation simple. Slide it in, lock it, and the contacts carry the load without fiddling with adapters. If you already have R7s fixtures, this is a straight swap.
Where It Shines: Efficiency, Speed, and Real-World Results
On a PET blowing line, the lamp preheats the parison quickly, so your cycle time shrinks. On assembly lines, it dries coatings and cures adhesives with pinpoint zone heating. Because it delivers such high heat density, you get more energy per square inch. That often means you can use a smaller heater array overall. Installation is straightforward: swap the lamp, wire it up, and tune the power with a compatible controller. The catch is thermal management—2500W packed into 300mm gets hot, and the surrounding components need to be rated for that heat. When you size everything right, this lamp just keeps running, even in harsh industrial conditions.
