Introduction
We built the SK15 Carbon Fiber Heat Lamp to be the workhorse you need when the heat has to show up—and show up fast. It runs on 220V, cranks out 1500W, and comes in at 550mm. So you get serious power in a package that actually fits—especially when space is tight but the heat demand is not.
What it brings to the table
Here’s the part you’ll actually care about on the shop floor: it draws predictable current on 220V, so your wiring and control gear don’t turn into a guessing game. And the 550mm length? It’s that sweet spot. Long enough to cover a real heat zone, but short enough to drop into crowded enclosures without tearing the machine apart. Plus, when it’s time to swap it out, the SK15 base is built for speed. No tools. Just pop the lamp in, close the cover, and you’re back to work.
Built to take the heat
Inside, you’ve got a carbon fiber filament riding inside a quartz tube. Quartz handles the high temps without drama and stays steady as it heats up and cools down. That quartz also lets the infrared energy get through cleanly, so more of the heat goes where you need it—onto the target—instead of just warming the air around it. The connector is solid, too. It holds up under vibration and the constant push-pull of heating cycles. One honest note: this is a serious heat source. Make sure the socket and nearby parts can handle continuous high temperature.
Where it shines
This is your go-to for fast, focused infrared heating. Think curing, drying, thermoforming, or any localized heating step on a production line. The 1500W power, 220V compatibility, and 550mm size make it a drop-in upgrade with minimal rework. The carbon fiber element responds quickly to power changes, so you can match your heat profile more closely. But because it’s intense, give it room to breathe. Keep clearances and manage the heat so you don’t cook the parts next door.
