Technical Deep-Dive

Here’s the straight talk on what makes them work. 400V, 2500W, and a 300mm length. That combo packs a lot of heat into a small space, so you can pour energy right onto the panel you’re curing—without trying to heat the whole room. The 400V supply also means less current than lower-voltage options. That keeps wiring runs simpler and cuts down on voltage drop over long cables. And that 300mm length? It’s chosen to match the usual curing zones on a vehicle. Line up a few modules side by side, and you get even coverage.

Material & Design

Inside, you’ve got a halogen-filled infrared element with a quartz envelope and a carbon fiber heating core. The halogen gas helps keep the filament temperature steady, so output stays consistent even as things heat up and cool down. The quartz transmits shortwave IR really efficiently. That means heat gets into the coating fast—without scorching the surface. And the R7s connector is an industrial standard for double-ended tubes. It gives you solid contact and makes replacement easy. Swap a tube in minutes. No special tools.

Application & Benefits

When you’re painting cars, you need cure times that are fast and results you can count on, day after day. These tubes heat up quickly, so you shrink dwell time in the curing zone and keep the line moving. That shortwave profile helps cure thick clear coats evenly, which can reduce orange peel and give you a better gloss.
