Introduction

We built the NTEC OEM/ODM carbon fiber heater for one simple reason: sometimes you need serious heat in a ridiculously tight spot. It’s the kind of compact, high-intensity infrared workhorse you reach for when a standard tubular heater is too big, and a bulky ceramic block is just over the top. It’s for engineers who crave repeatable, reliable heat output—no guesswork, no fuss.
Power, Voltage, and Size: The Sweet Spot
Here’s the thing about this heater: it packs a punch. We’re talking 2500W of power, delivered through a high-density element. And we can match it to your plant’s voltage, whether that’s 230V or 400V. That 300mm tube length? It wasn’t picked at random. It gives us just enough surface area to hit that wattage without pushing the element to the brink. The payoff? A heat profile you can count on, packed into a small footprint. Need a direct replacement for an existing lamp assembly? Easy. Designing something new where space is a premium? Even easier.
The Materials That Make It Tick
We chose carbon fiber for a reason. It’s tough. It handles rapid heating and cooling cycles far better than old-school wire elements. It heats up fast and holds its resistance steady, which means the output stays consistent once it’s up to temperature. And the halogen gas inside? That’s the secret to longevity. It lets the filament run hotter without blackening, so the heat output stays rock solid over the lamp’s entire life. The quartz envelope is there because it shrugs off thermal shock and lets that infrared energy pass through cleanly. For the connections, we use industrial-grade R7s or SK15 connectors. They’re built to handle the high current and survive the constant vibration of machinery. Plus, they make the whole lamp a simple, drop-in replacement. We also apply a specific coating when needed. It helps manage the surface temperature and keeps the quartz clean from contaminants.
Where It Shines (And What To Watch For)
This heater is your go-to when you need focused infrared heat without warming up the entire room. Think plastic processing, coating curing, or heating stations on an assembly line. The combination of fast response, a compact 300mm form, and high wattage density lets you shrink the heated zone and get tighter control over your process. But there’s a trade-off. Packing 2500W into a 300mm tube creates serious heat density. So you have to plan for proper shielding and cooling to protect nearby components and wiring. Get the voltage right and plan your thermal layout carefully, and you’ve got a tough, serviceable heating module that we can build exactly to your OEM/ODM specs.
